I grew up fascinated by the natural world, watching Steve Irwin, obsessing over sharks, and once believing I’d become a marine biologist. Life took a different route, but the curiosity stuck.
Gardening, introduced by my wife, reopened that door. It led to noticing more, photographing wildlife, learning about food systems, and asking better questions about how we live alongside nature.
This blog is a place to explore those questions. It’s part journal, part field notes, part reflection. I write about food, land, animals, and what it means to live well without losing touch with the natural world.
